    Sodalite Crystal Healing Properties:

    Sodalite assists us to perceive where we are on our life’s path, helping us with self-acceptance and increasing our self-esteem.     Sodalite History and Uses:
    Sodalite was first found in Greenland in 1806, it didn’t become popular as an ornamental gemstone until 1891 when large deposits of it were found in Ontario in Canada. Most usually it is blue with white streaks but it can also be white, green, grey or pink which is called Hackmanite. Sodalite is named for its high sodium content and it is sometimes referred to as alomite, blue stone or ditroite.

    Sodalite Geological Description:

    Sodalite is a chloric sodium aluminum silicate with a hardness of 5.5 to 6. The blue shades of Sodalite are found intermingled with white Calcite. Sodalite is found in Brazil, Canada, Namibia, India and the USA.
