Chalcedony ranges in color from white to grey, greyish-blue, or brown ranging from pale to nearly black and has a waxy luster, and may be semitransparent or translucent. Varieties of Chalcedony include Agate, Carnelian, Aventurine, Jasper, Onyx, Bloodstone, Tiger Eye, Sardonyx, and Chrysoprase.
