☄️ About Muonionalusta Iron Meteorite

Muonionalusta is an iron meteorite discovered in northern Sweden and is estimated to have fallen to Earth roughly one million years ago. It is believed to have originated from the metallic interior of an ancient planetary body that was broken apart long ago.

The meteorite contains approximately 8.4% nickel, along with trace amounts of elements including gallium, germanium, and iridium. It also contains minerals such as chromite, daubreelite, schreibersite, akaganeite, troilite, and other inclusions.

Moldavite is a natural tektite formed approximately 15 million years ago during the impact of a meteorite in what is now Central Europe. The intense heat and force of the impact melted and vaporized terrestrial material, which was thrown into the atmosphere and later cooled into the distinctive green glassy material known as Moldavite.

Most Moldavite is associated with the Moldau (Vltava) River region of the Czech Republic, making genuine specimens especially interesting to collectors of tektites and impact materials.
