Many butterflies utilize images, hidden in their wings, as defensive mechanisms. This fairy is no different, although the Immortal Flight Statue certainly does feature a darker dose of defense than most others, thanks to her rather sinister style. This statue is inspired by the artwork of Anne Stokes, and so faithfully recreates her design in all its impressive detail. The statue depicts a beautiful fairy as she kneels over a stone pool. The fairy herself is a dark creature, one that dresses in modern styles that only accent her pale, tattooed skin and her dark hair. All in all, she is a beautiful little fairy, but one not without her secrets. This fairy leans forward, her hand stretched towards the water, where instead of her reflection, one can see the skulled figure that rests just beneath the water's calm surface. Hidden in the fairy luminescent wings is another skull, which glows dully with the vibrant hue of her wings. The statue is crafted entirely in polystone, which is a variant of cold cast resin that is mixed with powdered stone to create a much finer look and feel. It is also hand-painted, giving the statue both vibrant color and an impressive level of detail. This gothic fairy statue stands approximately 7.25 inches tall. She may be a dark little creature, but that does not detract from the Immortal Flight Statues impressive detailing and beauty, and it is all three of those qualities that make this a truly great decoration to have.
