🌿 A big, beautiful centerpiece for a Celtic or pagan altar.
This Danu statue by Maxine Miller stands about 15.5" tall and is packed with detail. She wears a long hooded cloak and a beaded headband, and holds a wide bowl out in front of her. Look down into the bowl and you'll find a carved triple spiral. Turn her around and the back of the cloak shows a triple moon, scattered stars, a dragonfly, and a full tree with its roots spreading across the base. A fish, a frog, and a snake are worked into the folds and floor around her. It all has a warm, carved-wood look.

About Danu
In Irish mythology, Danu is traditionally seen as the mother goddess of the Tuatha Dé Danann, the "people of the goddess Danu." Surviving sources say surprisingly little about her directly, and scholars still debate the details. Today many pagans honor her as a mother figure tied to the land, water, and abundance.
A goddess this gorgeous deserves a spot front and center. 🌙
