Shiva is one of the principal deities of Hinduism, the iconic attributes of Shiva are the snake around his neck, the crescent moon, the third eye, the drum, and his trident. Shiva is an omnipotent, omnipresent deity that has various different names and forms. Shiva plays an important role in the Hinduism concept of the great trinity (The Trimurti), in which the cosmic creation, balance, and destruction are personified by three major deities, Brahma the creator, Vishnu the preserver, and Shiva the destroyer. This wonderfully crafted cold cast bronze statue measures 6 inches high, 4.75 inches long, and 2.5 inches wide, and depicts Shiva seated in meditation holding a Trishul and damaru drum in his upper hands.
