    Chrysoprase Crystal Healing Properties:

Chrysoprase is a heart-healing stone, it helps us to understand patterns and habits in relationships and to release fear-based emotions and belief systems. It is a prosperity and love attracting stone, opening our hearts to receive the infinite love and abundance of the Universe and expanding our ability to feel and express love. It assists us to feel our interconnection with all of creation and dispels feelings of isolation while fostering positive, healing thoughts towards the earth and each other.

    Chrysoprase History and Uses:

Chrysoprase, also called chrysophrase, chrysoprasus or the stone of Venus, is named from the Greek ‘chrusos’ meaning gold and ‘prason’ meaning leek in reference to its color. It has been known since ancient times and was a favorite stone of Alexander the Great who attributed his success in battles to the Chrysoprase beaded girdle he wore. The Greeks, Romans, and Egyptians used it to make seals, signets, jewelry, and other ornamental objects because of its beautiful apple green color. In Medieval Europe, it was worn to attract money and ward off nightmares. Legend has it that thieves would use Chrysoprase to make themselves invisible.

    Chrysoprase Geological Description:

Chrysoprase is a rare form of green chalcedony, a member of the quartz group with a hardness of 7. This stone’s green color is due to its nickel content. Chrysoprase is found in Australia, Brazil, Madagascar, South Africa, and Russia.
